About Us
VAC is a Northwich arts organisation.   We are a Community Interest Company, formerly established in 93 Brunner Court (Witton Street, near the Library) and prior to that in the former Connexions offices at 98 Brunner Court. We hope to move into another town centre property very soon. In the meantime we have held exhibitions at the iconic Weaver Hall Museum and Plaza cinema/bingo hall  (closed in 2011) and continue to plan further events.

The 2016 Northwich Art Trail ran throughout July. It was the 3rd 'trail' run by VAC. We were allowed the use of our former gallery in Brunner Court (next to the library) to promote the trail. There were 50 art trail exhibits in the gallery and 70 pieces of art distributed throughout the town. All of the art was for sale and in 2016 we managed to sell more work than we had done in the previous trails.

We run the Northwich Art Trail in the summer and produce the Northwich Calendar. We are supported by Cheshire West and Chester council and also Northwich Town Council.

We aim to provide a varied programme of exhibitions - in the first 3 years of our operation as a gallery we have had 20 different shows - see the Past Exhibitions tab for more details.

Besides our exhibition programme we have also run a variety of workshops and we intend to continue these activities when we relocate to a new town centre base.
