A new VAC project in 2018 was the Children's Art Trail. The inaugural theme was 'Our Town'. The Children's Art Trail has now become an annual event. Because of Covid restrictions, for 2021 the 'Trail' was an exhibition in one location. We have decided to retain the 'exhibition' format for 2022 (as it was so popular). It will occupy the window space in a large Barons Quay shopping centre unit. From 23rd May until 23rd June you will see the art in the last unit on the left as you walk down from Asda to H&M. Turn the corner (towards the Odeon cinema) there will be more art to be seen in the windows.
The theme for 2022 is 'Connections' - there are some delightful interpretations in a varied collection of our young pupils' art - SEE SOME EXAMPLES FROM LAST YEAR BELOW
